Films by the two finalists in the TVE / EBRD short-film competition are now posted on Youtube, where viewers are invited to cast a vote to decide the eventual winner.

The category of the competition sponsored by the Bank was entitled “The impact of water”, a theme with clear resonance to many of our projects.

The first film is by Saveis Joze Sadeghian, who is based in Tunisia and worked with fellow countryman Ines Chalalaaan. Sadeghian is an Environmental Economist currently working as Climate Change Finance Advisor for the Global Mechanism of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), and is also an actress with a diploma in cinematography.

Here’s her film, “Drops of Hope”.

The other finalist in our category was Peter Vadocz, who succinctly summarises his interest in the potential impact of topical short films like this one; “if you feel that your thoughts can affect more and more people, it’s a kind of happiness.”

His film is entitled “Clear Water.”
